Deborah Vani Zama is capable of turning her personal interests into various projects and services. She graduated from the National Institute of Design with a degree in Industrial Design and specialising in Furniture Design. She serviced a multi-disciplinary approach to design and problem solving, experimenting with materials and processes, forms and structures during her time at the school.

Zama had her interest in jewellery cultivated when she was living in New York City working with an interior-architecture company. Nowadays, she's a professional metal artist and teaches people about the joys of making their own wearable art. When she began making jewelry as a hobby, Zama’s pieces were personal and hand-crafted. Little did she know people would love her personal style so much that they would eventually form the company Jewel Tree London.
